APIExpose
The local engine that consolidates the current game, its media, its events, the arcade outputs and the data the other components need.
NELFE STATION runs on an event-driven architecture that connects the game’s context, its signals and its media to physical and digital surfaces.
The local engine that consolidates the current game, its media, its events, the arcade outputs and the data the other components need.
The manager for dynamic surfaces: marquee, topper, instruction card and specialised screens.
The animation layer for the control panel, driven by the game and its events.
The authoring tool for artwork, scenes and content shown on screens and in the broadcast.
The player and catalogue platform that carries the experience on through profiles, records and leaderboards.
Not every cabinet reports the same depth of information. How far the integration goes depends on the game and on the rights available.
| Source | What it exposes |
|---|---|
| RetroArch and MAME | Wrappers, outputs and definitions expose the context and the events configured for the experience. |
| Partner native games | An APIExpose producer integration lets the studio emit the scores, states and events planned for its project. |
| Media mode | Even without deep telemetry, a NAS can adapt its artwork, marquee and instructions to the selected game. |
This website never connects to a cabinet’s APIExpose: that stays local to the station. Records and player profiles belong to NelfePlay.
As soon as one venue hosts several NAS — or several venues host one each — deployment, updates and challenge scheduling have to be driven remotely.
Supervision pushes configurations, game profiles and scheduling out to the venues, and pulls back availability, incidents and aggregated usage indicators.
This operations layer is still under development. It is not yet deployed on a fleet in service.
No personally identifiable player data passes through it: profiles, records and leaderboards belong to NelfePlay.
